With the touch of a button these electric blinds glide across to filter the light. The seamless installation onto a shelf and taut fabric makes it look as if the roof lantern is designed around the blind itself and gives a clean finish.
With over a decade of development and installations in some of the most challenging situations you can be assured of the performance of a Roof Zip Blind.
1. When building your roof lantern, ask your electrician to put a switch fuse spur from the mains circuit somewhere inconspicuous and accessible (usually near a plug socket).
The large ZIP system has two motors – both are situated within the roller tube in the end cassettes. The cassettes typically go across the narrow dimension of a roof lantern. The motors are powered via a
Control Box and a Remote Control Sensor (RCS).
2. For installation in new builds. Specify a
plasterboard shelf either at the base of the lantern or at ceiling level around the
3. When retro-fitting a fabricated steel shelf can be installed to support and conceal the blind. The shelf can be powder-coated to match any colour scheme.
